Your true potential remains hidden
if you don't develop it
As an art therapist, I accompany people on their journey of self-awareness, self-discovery and in processes of emotional relief through creative forms of expression. Art therapy is a process in which creative activities such as painting, drawing, sculpting or collage are used to make thoughts, feelings and inner conflicts visible. It is not about creating 'perfect' works of art. Rather, it is about creating a space in which the inner world can be expressed in a non-verbal way. In this way, the creative process can contribute to problem solving on various levels, as it offers a unique access to our inner self that often goes beyond words.
Art therapy is a scientifically based method that combines depth psychological approaches with creative processes. It offers valuable support in coping with emotional or psychological stress, promotes self-confidence and helps to develop one's own personality. The creative process makes it possible to release fears and inner blockages and strengthen one's own well-being.
Art therapy can awaken inspiration and creativity in many ways because it encourages the expression of emotions and thoughts through creative means. This can encourage people to follow their intuition and spontaneous impulses without worrying about perfection. This free approach often opens doors to new forms of creative expression.
In my sessions, I offer you a safe space in which you can express yourself using various materials and techniques without pressure or demands for performance. Each session is individually tailored to your needs and issues. Whether you are going through a difficult phase in your life, looking for new ways of self-awareness or simply want to discover your creative side, art therapy can successfully support you on your journey.
The creative process is at the heart of my work. I provide a variety of materials and encourage my clients to experiment freely and express their inner images, feelings and thoughts. By working with symbols, colors and shapes, new perspectives on your challenges emerge, leading to profound insights and positive changes.
It is about using the creative process as a mirror of your inner world and using it to find new ways of growth. Depending on your needs, I also integrate other therapeutic approaches into my work, such as mindfulness techniques. At the end of the therapeutic support, I will reflect on the entire process together with you. We look back on the progress and successes and develop perspectives for the future.
Art therapy not only promotes short-term emotional relief, but also contributes to long-term personal development and a change in thought patterns. It enables clients to recognize stuck or destructive behaviours and develop new, healthy patterns of thought and action. The creative process itself, which works with a mixture of spontaneity and structure, promotes the ability to look at problems from different perspectives and find innovative solutions.
