If you contact me via the form on the website, the information you provide (name, email address, message) will be stored on the web server for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.
Data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) as well as on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Our website uses features of the open-source web analytics tool Matomo (formerly Piwik). The analysis is carried out server-side, which means all data remains on our own web server.
The following data is collected:

time of visit
truncated IP address
browser and device type
referrer (previous page)
We use Matomo without cookies or only with your explicit consent (depending on the configuration). The IP address is truncated before it is stored, so no direct personal reference is possible.
The processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in improving our online services. If consent is required (e.g., for the use of cookies), processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Data collection only takes place after you have given your consent and can be adjusted in your cookie settings at any time.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
